Terms and Conditions

Enquiries and quotations

Every enquiry is answered with a written quotation. A project is confirmed only once the quotation is accepted in writing and the booking amount is received.

Booking and payment

A booking advance reserves the shoot date. The balance is payable on delivery unless a different schedule is agreed in writing.

Deliverables

The number of edited photographs, films, reels and revisions is defined in the accepted quotation. Additional requests are billed separately.

Usage rights

The Filmy Company retains copyright in all material produced. Clients receive a licence to use the delivered work for the purposes stated in the quotation. We may display the work in our portfolio unless a written restriction is agreed.

Rescheduling and cancellation

Shoots may be rescheduled subject to availability. Cancellations close to the shoot date may forfeit the booking advance, as costs are committed in advance.

Liability

We take every precaution with equipment, data and backups. Our liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount paid for the affected project.
